Second opinion
A written review of your existing medical documentation, followed by a 60-minute consultation by video or in Zurich. The review brings reports and recommendations from different physicians into one account: what is established, what remains uncertain, and which questions matter for the next decision.
Who reviews, and what kind of review it is
Amyad Raduan, MD, reviews the documentation himself. This is an integrating review by one physician who reads the whole file, not a subspecialty opinion on one organ or one disease. Where a subspecialist's view is needed, the written opinion says so and names the kind of specialist to consult.
What you receive
A structured written opinion covering:
- what is established by the available information;
- what remains uncertain;
- what the physician would do next;
- which questions to ask your treating physicians.
A 60-minute consultation, by video or in Zurich, to discuss the opinion and its reasoning.
Timeline
The written opinion is delivered within 10 working days of receiving the documentation agreed on the initial call. Documents are requested through a secure channel after that call.
Price
CHF 2,500 for the review, the written opinion and the consultation.
The fee is credited in full against membership if you join within 30 days of the consultation. A complex case review begins with this second opinion; the fee counts towards it.
Who it is for, and who it is not for
For people with existing medical documentation who want the findings considered together before a decision, or who have recommendations from different physicians that need to be read in context.
Ongoing coordination with specialists is part of complex case review or membership, not of the second opinion. This is not an emergency service and does not replace your treating physicians.
How to start
Write to us and select "Second opinion". We reply within two working days with two or three possible times for a 20-minute call. The call establishes the scope. The terms are agreed in writing, and documents are then requested through a secure channel.
What you should not send through this website
Leave out medical reports, imaging, laboratory results, prescriptions and photographs relating to your health. Symptoms, diagnoses, medicines and medical history also belong outside the contact form. Use the website for identification and practical context only. After the call, we request the documentation through a secure channel.
