Membership

An annual relationship with one personal physician, for individuals and families with lives across countries and a continuing connection to Switzerland. Membership brings together your medical history, coordination with your specialists, an annual evaluation in Zurich and continuity between visits, on terms set out in writing.

The family office of your health

Your family has one lawyer and one banker it trusts with the whole picture. Its medicine is usually spread across a dozen people who have never spoken to each other. Membership gives it one physician who holds the continuing account of your care: the history, the recommendations, the results and the decisions that follow, across countries and across the years.

One physician

Amyad Raduan, MD, reads information in context and coordinates with the specialists involved in your care. Their contributions remain theirs; the work here is to connect them and decide the next steps with you. Your local physicians remain part of your care. Absences are announced in advance, and the agreement sets out how matters are handled during them.

Availability, in writing

The agreement sets out how to reach your physician, the reply times and the annual pool of hours. For the first adult, 30 physician hours a year; the pool scales with the composition of the membership. A written reply within one working day, Monday to Friday. Scheduled calls within five working days. Urgent matters follow a named route set out in the agreement. This is not an emergency service.

Visits take place where you are. RADUAN has no premises of its own; the annual evaluation takes place in Zurich, at partner facilities.

The annual evaluation in Zurich

Once a year, each adult member comes to Zurich for a coordinated evaluation day at partner facilities, planned months ahead. A written annual report records the evaluation and the agreed next steps. Children follow the paediatric module, with its own cadence.

The quarterly brief

Four times a year you receive a written brief on the science relevant to your health and your decisions. It separates what is established from what is plausible and from what is commercially inflated.

Diagnostics at cost

Laboratory work, imaging and specialist services are arranged only when indicated and invoiced at cost, with no margin. Third-party invoices are passed on as issued. The practice does not sell treatments.

In Zurich there are excellent programmes that combine a full diagnostic day with a year of follow-up: a facility, a team, diagnostics included in the price. RADUAN is a different thing. It has no facility and no diagnostics of its own. It is one physician, and what you pay for is judgement and continuity, across countries and across years.

Why Zurich

The practice is licensed and supervised in the Canton of Zurich. The annual evaluation takes place here, and so do the laboratory and imaging partners. For members who live elsewhere, Zurich is the fixed point; everything else moves with you.

Membership composition and fees

Family membership includes every adult, a coordinated paediatric module and one integrated family history. Each adult's information remains their own; the family history integrates what each member chooses to share.

CompositionAnnual fee
First adultCHF 28,000
Each additional adultCHF 20,000
Each dependent child, under 18, or up to 25 if dependentCHF 6,000
Next Generation, aged 18 to 30, on their ownCHF 15,000

Membership is billed annually in advance.

What is not included

Diagnostics, specialist services and hospital care are outside the fee and are invoiced by those who provide them. The membership fee covers the physician's work and the continuity set out in the agreement. Membership does not replace emergency care or your local physicians.

A circle of 45 to 50 memberships

The total is 45 to 50 memberships, individual or family. The ceiling is not a device. It is the number of relationships one physician can hold to this standard, and it is written into the agreement.

Within that circle, a Principal membership for five families exists, by invitation, from CHF 180,000 a year.

How one enters

By introduction, or after a second opinion or complex case review. You may also write to us about membership directly: the first conversation establishes what you need and whether the practice fits.

The second opinion fee of CHF 2,500 is credited in full against membership if you join within 30 days of the consultation. After a case review, CHF 2,500 is credited if you join within 30 days of completion. One credit applies.
